About Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is an exfoliating treatment that triggers skin cells to regenerate, helps reduce wrinkles, acne and rough skin. The treatment utilizes a sterile medical grade flat scalpel to gently scrape the surface of the skin and remove the dead skin cells and excess hair (aka peach fuzz). Your Haven Provider is highly trained on this process and will leave your skin feeling softer than ever.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS – DERMAPLANE
Pre-Treatment
Drink ample water, to keep your skin hydrated.
Discontinue use of retinol, Retin-A, AHA, BHA or other active products 1 week prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of tanning beds 1 week before and after treatment.
No sun exposure 1 week before and after treatment.
AVOID: Alcohol, cigarettes, and food/drinks with large amounts of citrus at least 2 days prior to treatment.
If you develop a cold sore or rash prior to your appointment you must reschedule.
Post-Treatment
Some peeling may occur for a time.
